Evangelism

The Mission of Evangelism at Grace & Holy Trinity is to reach out to people who do not have a church home, welcome guests into our community, and to incorporate new members into the ministries of our Church.

Mission Society News

We are busy planning two mission trips to Belize.

The first trip will be March 13th through the 20th, which coincides with VCU’s spring break. We will be serving Saint Andrew’s Anglican Parish in San Ignacio, in Western Belize. The Parish has a new priest that has a lot of experience with mission teams. The group will include a dental team. If we have enough interest from dental professionals, we will try to sponsor the following week for additional dental work. We have developed a DVD about our first dental trip that we would like to share with your dentist or other dental professionals (Hygienists and Dental Assistants) that you know, who may have an interest in joining us. Please let us know if we can provide a DVD for you to give to your dentist.

The second trip will be in the summer, probably in August. The focus will be music and sports in association with the Saint Andrew’s school. Beth Melcher Davis will be joining the missioners on this trip. We will have organizational meetings in September so we can start planning and fund raising. If you are interested in either trip please contact Mary and Kinloch Nelson (288-8743) or Sarah and Gregg Beck (330-3200).
