The Rev. Jason Roberts began at Grace and Holy Trinity (GHT) on July 28th, 2003. A native Richmonder, he came to G&HT from Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia, where his mark was left not in his great scholastic ability but in the co-designing of a Frisbee Golf Course around the 86-acre campus. Before his time at seminary, Jason spent seven glorious years living in Harrisonburg, Virginia, six of which were in school at James Madison University. Yes, this was more than just an undergraduate degree!  At GHT, Jason focuses on the service and evangelism ministries. Within the Service Ministries, a transition team has been formed to evaluate all of the service ministries at GHT.

Within the Evangelism ministries, Jason is responsible for the college ministry with the students of Virginia Commonwealth University; he helps facilitate the Missionary Society, which focuses on mission education trips as well as newcomer and welcoming ministries. Jason also shares in preaching and pastoral care.

My ministry and work with the members, staff, and clergy at Grace and Holy Trinity Church has been an incredible experience.  I have grown both professionally and spiritually over the past five and 1/2 years.

I plan to continue my music ministry at St. Michael’s in Colonial Heights, study and enjoy birds, and kayak the streams and creeks of the James River in Surry Co.

As many of you know I have a bit of excess energy so I will eventually look for volunteer or part time social work opportunities in the Tri City area.

I thank you all for allowing me this amazing opportunity, truly my best job ever!!

Peace,

Debbie
